Where in Mozambique did you grow up?
I grew up in Matola with my parents, I have 8 siblings; 5 girls and 3 boys. My Mother is a seamstress, and she does her work at home. My father is an electrotechnician working for his small company that deals with the maintenance of Generators sets.
What’s your most memorable childhood memory?
My best memories are when I was studying in Elementary School (Escola Primária Tunduro), when I played in the schoolyard with my friends. I have never forgotten the name of my first teacher (Otília), who always praised me whenever I got good marks in Portuguese and mathematics.
Who is your favourite music artist?
I like Afro-soul, mainly musics from South African Zahara, one of the songs that I like the most is by Zahara – Destiny.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years time?
In 5 years I would like to win a space within a large industrial company, a company equal to MPDC, KENMARE RESOURCES, ANADARKO and SASOL
Would you like to stay in Mozambique or travel with your job? Would you like to become management in an office, or work in a group offshore?
I would like to travel – to meet people and develop my network in the field of electrical engineering. I never liked working in an office. I want to put my hand on the mass
What or who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my father, when he was 24 years old he was head of maintenance of the largest food production company in Mozambique, in Matola in 1986. I try to follow his steps, and learn a lot of his work experience.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My best achievement until today is to have been selected among many students by the world leader in temporary power generation, heating, cooling and dehumidification, to participate in the summit Africa energy Forum 21-24 June 2016.
