A football, I’ve always owned one.
You’ve just won the lottery, what’s the first thing you will buy?
A stock portfolio and a Range Rover or Velar SUV – my dream car.
Where in Ghana did you grow up?
I grew up in two cities, Obuasi and Kumasi but spent most of my lifetime at Asuoyeboah, a suburb of Kumasi with my step mom who was a petty trader and dad who was a farmer.
What’s your most memorable childhood memory?
My favourite childhood memory happens to be the joyous mood I always had when I heard that my dad was coming to Kumasi knowing definitely he will buy me candies and biscuits!
Who is your favourite music artist?
I like Harry Belafonte, he does a music genre called calypso. Calypso is the nicest music in the world, yes it is!! Do you know why? Lemme tell you, just download a song titled coconut by Belafonte and listen. Don’t thank me afterwards 😉

“I am eager to further my knowledge and help my homeland realise its potential. I am patient and like the challenges of leadership.”

What would you like to be doing in 5 years time?
I would like to be an expert in Process Control Systems and Instrumental Engineering where I would be able to collectively work with my colleagues to solve emerging challenges in the oil and gas industry. I would also like to travel around the world with an aim of meeting my peers in the oil and gas industry with different nationalities to better acquaint myself well with oil and gas ‘soft skills’. In the next couple of years, I see myself in a Supervisory Role or Management Role in the Oil and Gas industry. I am patient with others and like the challenges of leadership.
What or who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is God; He has been that change factor since day one. Physically, I will say my Dad. My parents broke up when I was little. But this man has been my breadwinner for the last 20 years. Honesty, humility, God fearing and respect are but to mention few his values. He always had this on his lips, “SERVICE IS THE RENT WE PAY FOR THE SPACE WE OCCUPY ON EARTH”. Serving God and man has been a passion for me.
